One thing you could do is go to this page:

www.flickr.com/profile_url.gne

And pick a "friendly name" to associate with your account-that's how I can link to "flickr.com/photos/pointytilly" and not a bunch of gibberish. It's permanent, though, so pick something you don't mind being stuck with.

Once you've got that, you can link to the photo pages a lot easier.

Take the link to the photo page and link to the image bits from the code they give you, poke that into that BB code, and it should work.
