I figure I owe Ranitan pictures and a review for brutally stomping on his budget on ebay for this fella 
but he's just *that* cool...
General Background Stuff:
Black redler is a limited zoid sold only at some convention in Japan cira 2001 or 2003? Can't remember. It's a hard bugger to find, and the price reflects it. This zoid is somehwat decieving, depending on what picture you see of it, the wings can either look very dark green or very bright, probably has to do with flash. The zoid, confusingly enough is sold in a red box a la leon blade liger/naomi gun sniper style, and is not to be confused with the playstation red redler limited, which has a darker red box, simply says "Redler" and shows pictures of zoids from the game. The limited black redler sadly is only a pure recolor and does not have different parts like the anime version such as the tail spikes and whatnot. No special sticker sheet either, although some came with a trading card.
The Good:
Do you like bright green? Do you like translucenty bits? Do you like jolly ranchers? Well then heck, this be teh zoid for you! The wings and optics make me go "wow" because they're a very, very bright neony almost green, much reiminscient of a sour apple jolly rancher type thing. I was a little afraid when I was opening his box, because zoid corner's sight shows him having dark gren opaque wings for whatever reason. That's not the case happily enough. Add silver caps and sleek, black redler-y death to it and you have one mean zoid!
The Bad:
The scarcity and price. For what little changes were done to him, he's really not worth being so hard to find and expensive. A reissue of him would be teh awesome. Also, the red is just... muh. Weird. I'm almost tempted to paint it bright green and then have him be a funky lil dark zoid.
