Baloney. Any fluid layout worth its salt will work in small resolutions, and most commercial sites with fixed width layouts still design to 800x600 because people still use it for reasons other than not being "with the times". You can't ask people to buy a new monitor or magically fix their eyes just to view your site.
Speaking of which-I'd make the font bigger. I just tried upping it a size and it's a lot easier on the eyes with no negative impact on the layout that I can see.
The menu is neat. I like how it works. But you NEED alt text on image navigation.
I dig how you've got the Zoid pages laid out. Thumbnails at last! That means once the navigation and layout pics have loaded, everything else is faster, and that's good. I miss your comments on some of the pictures, though...you could put 'em in the thumbnails' title (NOT alt!) tags if you'd like them to show on hover.
(and KB? You'll never take me alive :p.)

You can't ask people to buy a new monitor or magically fix their eyes just to view your site. My comment about 800x600 was really just meant as a joke, however I really do think that everything looks f*cked up in that resolution but if people prefer it then far be it from me to tell them they're wrong. Eh, I really prefer small fonts on websites, I think it looks more professional. It's a good suggestion but the problem is that the buttons are already pretty small, throw some alt tags on there and those stupid little pop-ups will be blocking the whole image every time you mouse-over it. I have comments in the pop-up window, it's parts of Hidocker's script. Did you not see them? -Pheno

I just tested something, and as far as I can tell, IE 4+ will display title tags instead of alt on hover, even if they're blank. Thus, <img src="whatever.jpg" alt="Home" title=""> will send alt tags to those who need them but not show anything on hover. It's probably hack-y, but it's better than no alt tags: www.creativeinsanity.net/stuff/temp/junk/cantnavigate.png...and I likely missed the comments in the popups because I had Javascript blocked at the time. Whoops.

Apparently I didn't upload the folders containing the Blox and Custom Blox pages, they're up now for your viewing pleasure. What the heck? Those images are so small they should load in 1-2 seconds on a 56k connection. How slow is your modem?! -Pheno

That's Opera with images off. Some people do that-I would sometimes if I used it, but there's a couple extensions in Firefox I need more (though now I wonder if there's one to easily turn images off...). I'd also use Lynx if people-professionals included-weren't so stupid about alt tags. Text browsers are great in theory: no crap, just content, and if you NEED an image, you can download it. But so many people don't care about them that they're left crippled... Really, not using alt tags is hurting both your users and you. webdesign.about.com/od/beginningtutorials/a/aa122004.htmwww.ipowerweb.com/build/design/articles/1057.htm

The new site is awesome! One of the best I've seen. Can't wait 'till it's 100% complete with limiteds and customs, plus reviews. ;D

I like it, and I can't wait to see the customs up. Man, what an improvement. You've done a wonderful job, pheno. Bravo, the site design really makes a statement.
Now all we need is a new custom contest to DESTROY ALL OTHER ZOIDS SITES!!!111
