Some of you may have noticed a warning level below certain member’s names. This is a new feature we've implemented. Instead of Karma, which was unfair since anyone could smite and exalt, the warning levels can only be set my Mods and Admins.
So, if you're rude, violate rules, etc. you will get a warning. The level of the warning differs depending on the offence. If we notice a positive change in your behavior then the warning level will be reduced, however if you keep acting negatively it will remain the same or go up.
If your warning level reaches 50% your account will be suspended for a week. If your warning level should reach 100% you will be permanently banned from this forum. Hopefully this system will work out better than the Karma system. -Phenotype

*Raises hand* But thats not what Karma is used for, it's more reputation. Just thought I would point that out.
...Okay, I know it's coming, go ahead and rais it, just know I did something bad...

What Pheno's saying is that karma if used properly could have been used to show that certain people were kind and great and that other certain people were rather rude and not the brightest when it came to people skills. As it is, back in the days of the karmna system it was no big coincidence that certain people's karma dropped whenever they were rude or made inherently stupid comments.

Skye is correct. Karma would have worked too, if the people who were getting smote (for good reason) didn't complain that they were being picked on. Also, the secret karma boosting clubs didn't help matters either.
Now you just have to worry about us mods (EVIL LAUGH)
In summary: be nice, people!

ummm...So if you revive a whole swarm of dead rotting topics and your warning level goes up, how exactly do you reduce it?
