Zoid Overview - Bigasaurus were the first large-scale Zoids to go into production and their body frame designs would go on to be used in other subsequent large-scale Zoids. They were originally used for transport but when the need arose, they were armed and used for combat – unfortunately, they proved less than effective.
Kit Overview - Bigasauru is a steady but slow walker. Very slow. The back legs also tend to go up a little too far and get stuck if the tail or leg caps become a bit loose – this fault follows through to a lesser extent in Mammoth and Gordos who both have the same leg mechanism. The tail is also very thin and tends to break off at the part where it joins the body, so be careful.
In addition to the walking movement, Bigasauru’s neck moves up and down and left to right in an ingenious movement which keeps the head level at all times.
For the picky completist, there are two slightly different versions of Bigasauru; the second version has two nodes under each foot (meaning that the foot bases from Mammoth and Gordos can fit on) whereas the first version has none.

Zoid Overview - Mammoths are far stronger, more powerful and more heavily armoured than their predecessors, the Bigasauru units. Their ears contain 3D radar arrays and an energy beam can be focused at the tip of each tusk which can be used to devastate other Zoid’s armour during melee combat. Unfortunately, despite being the most revered Zoids during the old wars, they were soon outdated by newer Zenevas units.
Kit Overview - Mammoth is a steady but slow walker. Very slow. The back legs also tend to go up a little too far and get stuck if the tail or leg caps become a bit loose – this fault relates back to Bigasauru and also continues to a lesser extent in Gordos who both have the same leg mechanism.
In addition to the walking movement, the trunk moves up and down in an ingenious movement which keeps the gun level at all times whilst the ears (which are partially connected to the legs) flap back and forth.
This model was also released in America and Europe; the American Radio Shack version has 'Tandy' on the battery cover instead of Tomy whilst the European version is identical except for Zenevas insignia stickers and silver pilots.

Zoid Overview - Gojulas' were the single largest and most powerful Zoids of their time – ultimately becoming symbolic of the Republic - and they remained undefeated until the emergence of the Empire’s Iron Kongs. Unfortunately, Gojulas' are also some of the least maneuverable Zoids (a weakness readily exploited) and they can be difficult to control.
In addition to their incredible strength, they have a pressurised cockpit which allows for combat and travel underwater and in harsh conditions where other Zoids cannot survive.
Kit Overview - Flip the motor switch and Gojulas will walk forwards fairly slowly, move its arms up and down, turn its head left to right and open and close its mouth. The light feature works separately to the main motor; the switch is located on the backpack and when activated, a bulb in the head will flash to illuminate the eyes and mouth with a red blinking glow. Gojulas is the first Zoid to incorporate a light-up gimmick.
The original Gojulas kit is not compatible with the Supercannon set (or CP-10), since the backpack lacks the mounting points. It was only until the appearance of the Gojulas MK-II that the backpack was updated to accommodate them.
The tail of this Zoid is its weakest point and will readily snap off if given a sharp knock, so be careful.

Zoid Overview - Gojulas MK-IIs were developed to make up for the original Gojulas' lack of long range weaponry; a weakness readily exploited by the Empire's Iron Kongs. However, this extra weaponry meant that mass-production was inappropriate and so the few units made were only given to the best of the Republic's pilots. The tail stabilisers were modified to prevent the Zoid being tipped over by the two cannon's recoil.
Kit Overview - Flip the motor switch and Gojulas MK-II will walk forwards fairly slowly, move its arms up and down, turn its head left to right and open and close its mouth. The light feature works separately to the main motor; the switch is located on the backpack and when activated, a bulb in the head will flash to illuminate the eyes and mouth with a red blinking glow. The cannons are a nice touch, but the rubber tubes tend to stick to the plastic if left in the sunlight.
The tail of this Zoid is its weakest point and will readily snap off if given a sharp knock, so be careful.
Gojulas MK-II Ltd is one of the most valuable Zoids in the original line, mint kits have been sold on internet auctions for around $2000!

Zoid Overview - The Helic Republic needed to act quickly if they were to survive the new Zenevas army's onslaught. The original Gojulas units were easily outclassed by the newer Zoids and there were not enough Gojulas MK-IIs to hold the front lines. The Republic therefore decided to produce lightweight, cheaper versions of the equipment used on the Gojulas MK-II and fit the pieces onto some of the original Gojulas units. The result: Gojulas MK-II (P), a cheaper yet almost as effective version of one of their top fighters.
Kit Overview - Flip the motor switch and Gojulas MK-II will walk forwards fairly slowly, move its arms up and down, turn its head left to right and open and close its mouth. The light feature works separately to the main motor; the switch is located on the backpack and when activated, a bulb in the head will flash to illuminate the eyes and mouth with a green blinking glow. Sadly, some of the parts used on the original Gojulas MK-II have been left out - only the two large cannons and hand cannon are included.
The tail of this Zoid is its weakest point and will readily snap off if given a sharp knock, so be careful.

Zoid Overview - Gordos' contain the fastest, most up-to-date computer hardware available and serve as high-tech scanning, analysis and communication units. They are also capable of carrying huge loads of heavy equipment but their large size and low speed make them easy targets for Imperial Zoids.
Kit Overview - Gordos is a steady but slow walker. Very slow. The back legs also tend to go up a little too far and get stuck if the tail or leg caps become a bit loose – this fault relates back to Bigasaurus and also to a lesser extent in Mammoth who both have the same leg mechanism.
In addition to the walking movement, the neck moves side to side, the mouth opens and closes and the back cannons alternate moving up and down.
