:)I'm into techno, electronic stuff (don't know why, just do) It started with Britpop bands like New Order, Depeche Mode, PSB, A-ha, Tears for Fears, erasure, PULP, the smith, Electronic, Bjork... Later, into Ambient electronica Warp records stuff, namely Autechre, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, and others like M83, AIR, Daft Punk, Moby, Orbital, Chemical Brothers. Also into trance like System F, ATB, PVD, Oakenfold, Alice Deejay, Chicane...etc. Still constantly searching for new similar sound, please recommend if know any not listed here. I don't mind one hit wonder. I have complied all the songs that i can find from Youtube into one blog here echoptics.blogspot.com/If you rhyme with my sound, check it out.

Right now I can't stop listening to Kreator. My favorite type of music is pretty much any type of metal(except for nu-metal) and my favorite bands are Helloween, Manowar, Gamma Ray, Black Sabbath, and of course Kreator.

My latest musical fetish-UnsraW. Sounds like some sort of Japanese Lamb Of God, and, well, the only way to describe how they look... www.unsraw.com/pc/index.htmlClick on "Profile". You can also see each individual Member by clicking on thier name. For a sample of their stuff, my personal fav song- -9-And another good one- Gate Of Death...yep. Favorite new band.

I'm mostly into alternative/hard rock, trance and J-rock. The only genres I really can't get into, no exceptions, is hip hop/R&B and country (there are a few pop artists that I don't mind listening to - see below).
Favourite bands/artists include: Muse, Regurgitator, Franz Ferdinand, The Grates, The Whitlams, Kate Miller-Heidke, the Howling Bells, Frenzal Rhomb, The Prodigy, Smashing Pumpkins, Nightwish, Shonen Knife, The Pillows, Közi, Malice Mizer, Dir en Grey, Luna Sea and Maximum the Hormone.

This is a public service announcement. If you like heavy metal, and other kinds of metal, then check out Red Album by Baroness. I don't know anything about various subgenres to know what to call them, but if you like Mastodon and Isis, you should like the heck out of Baroness. Plus they have wicked album art. ;D

MY latest craze: Ministry I know they've been around for a while, but I just recently been listening to their greatest hits CD. I've yet to check out their two latest CDs. Personal fave songs off CD: Lay Lady Lay(cover of Bob Dylan, I believe),So What(LIVE), and What ABout Us(Off of A.I. soundtrack)
([For those who don't know who they are, here's my definition: a metal/industrial hybrid.])

SWEET, another Ministry fan! I haven't heard much later than 1992, though. Probably oughta.
Favorite Ministry songs: (from "the land of raep and honey") The Missing Deity Golden Dawn
(from "the mind is a terrible thing to taste") Burning Inside So What (who doesn't love that one) Dream Song
(from "psalm 69") Scarecrow Corrosion Grace

I'm not too much of a J-Rock fan, my self. I'm more of a visual kei fan. They're the wierdos who go on stage dressed in wierd costumes and uniforms and such. Like Japanese Slipknot. Honestly, they are often more style than substance.

I'm a huge fan of video game music. I always enjoy the compositions of Nobuo Uematsu, Motoi Sakuaba, Koji Kondo and Yoko Shimomura. My absolute favorite soundtrack has to be Street Fighter II, I love every single song in that soundtrack.
