1 question. are the customs gonna be judged fairly? or will the mods pick only the "good" ones. i know that the mods customs are REELY good but... it wont give any of us rookies a chance. The mods don't choose the winner. WE do. We voters, who have our own oppinions. And who said the mods' customs will be REELY good? I know for sure that many non-mods will rock this contest. And why be picked, if your custom isnt good? Its a contest. Winner=the best. Not Winner=amatuer who was given award because people felt sorry for him/her.

So, does that mean that I'm the only moderator that sucks at customizing? *Laughs* I'm sorry Ninjawolf/Kyubi, but I haven't actually made a custom Zoid...ever. I've repainted one, sure, but never a custom. So, I'm entering the contest as well.

I;m sure that many people will not vote for themselves, because there will be some awesome custom that outmatches all of ours. ^_^;

Voting for yourself is completely legal. Your vote is yours and yours alone to place. 'Sides, it is your opinion, after all.

1. Will Lord Phenotype be competing? No, it would be pointless for me to compete since I am giving out half of the prizes myself. -Phenotype

Just repaints so far, but I am going to try to get something together for this contest, even if I fall flat on my face. ;D

hey, just an idea. but since alot of rookies AND pros will be joining, how bout this: theres 2 contests. pro, and ameture. when you send in your zoid custom, you say which contest you want to enter. the winners of pro get bigger prizes, while the rookie zoids can be judged seperatley with little prizes just my $0.02

It's probably a little late to change up the contest like that. What's wrong with some competition from the big dawgs?! (which I am not, BTW, )

glancing over last year's contest for inspiration, I noticed a slight theme. well over half the entries used the Command Wolf for their base custom. I wonder if such a pattern will emerge this go round.

I'm sure it'll be the same again this year with either Command Wolves, or Ligers...
I'm personally breaking the mold in this area, so I hope by doing so, I bring a different light to Zoid customs, and the way many see Zoids (as I believe when any kit is in the right hands, can turn from a toy to a model).
I'd vote for someone else's entry if they come up with an original idea. But until March 1st, I wouldnt be able to tell as we're not allowed to post up anything in concern to competition entries....
