Re-reading some of the comments... That's not weathering, that's a lousy paint job (I know, because I suck at painting, too). Take a look at Pheno's Dead Dimantis ( www.pheno.zoids.org.uk/deaddemantis.htm) That is more along the lines of real weathering, with the paint peeling off to show bare metal underneith. if you want to go a step farther, put in some rust damage.

That is really great for your first custom! The colour scheme and construction is excellent. The CP-10 is nicely balanced.
Looks like you brush painted, it's really difficult to make brush painting look good on large areas, so try the spray can method. Brush paint small areas. The weathering is too much, looks like a really heavy wash.

trut me there must be some reason why every other zoid that has a cp10 on it has it mounted just infront of hits hind legs, well canory gordos is an exception as it has the bulk not to fall over when it shoots- recoil is a *Watch your language!*, and the recoil from both barrels firing on a weapon as large and as powerfull would send a sheildy flying off in the opposite direction from which it was firing, unless it had some kind of foot lock system like that on zoids with a cpc.- dood i know the laws of physics- and your custom appears to want to break them.

I like the idea, never have too many or too large a weapon mounted on a zoid, after all, but I hafta agree on the paint job. Da Vinci I'm not, but a little more effort never hurt. . The painting looks a bit gritty, reminds me of the time when I tried using automotive primer. . ~JuNo~ ...soooo it's bad to use auto primer eh?*scribble*
