Any other cool ones buried in there, or random pink recolors? (Silver Zero loooved pink recolors. A ton of the Zoids had a pink/purple sprite option!) Ligers are happy... no pink colors for them. But somebody else though might not so happy about his hidden costume Barbie gairjyuki ! Seems more like Barney Gairyuuki to me ;P Raven actually has a similar (slightly darker purple on the face, shoulders, hips, tail) one in Tactics. All of those little armor breaks are really cool too!

If you have the time, is there any chance you'd be able to get the image data out of the VS games? I'm particularly interested in the character images from the Mission Mode cutscenes - I can get screenshots myself, but fixing the transparencies is going to be a pain, and there's a decent chance that the code contains a couple of images that weren't used in-game. FMC image data would also be awesome, but it sounds like the FMC files are pretty tough to unpack. Don't worry if you can't / don't want to, I can just put the transparencies back in manually.

I poked at a few things and converted the TXD files to TGA but somewhere around the story directories I quit it... too... many... files. I'll drop the convert files and the rest in TXD (converter tool is included, you find it on the internet anyways) onto you: FALCARIOUS.7z. Hope it helps.

Nice, thanks. I'm actually looking for the images from the GameCube games (particularly VS1) right now, but the Struggle files should come in handy in the future. Also, Hanyoutai just sent me a massive set of FMC image files (although I'm not sure if it's complete), so FMC is less of a priority now. EDIT: I checked through those Struggle files for "hidden"/unused content, but all I could find was a picture of Athle (plus a copy of Bit's picture with "LEG" written on it, for some reason ). ...Oh, and a picture of Zero Jager in the "demo" folder.

Is VS1 the battle legends one? I've got 3 around here somewhere and one dubbed battle legends without any more on it.

Yep, they're the ones I'm after. If you don't have VS1, I can send you the specific files that the images are probably hiding in. (I have access to them, I just can't figure out how to open them, since they're all .dat files.) Unfortunately the FMC collection wasn't complete after all (frustratingly close though, maybe 80 percent?), but it looks like all the pictures are in .txd format again. Now if only we can figure out how to unpack the .fpk files... I'm also interested in the music files from the VS games, which are in MusyX format, but that would probably be too complicated (and maybe not your field of expertise anyway).

Looks like I don't have VS1 lingering around my system any more. That said judging by battle legends the file formats are different than metal crash. This means I would have to rev-eng this one from the start and right now I'm not in the situation to have much free time at my hands.
For the FPK you would need my python script. But I think GameExtractor can handle them too. I don't know why I'm using my own python script but give GameExtractor a try. Might work.
I haven't done rev-eng sound or music formats so far. In contrary to model and texture formats they tend to have a larger range of possible compression formats going on, ranging from plain dump PCM type sounds over custom formats to well known ones known from PC world. Doesn't tickle me too much to dive into that topic to be honest.
