Nice Sabre and Claws. Especially Claws, it will look very nice with the CP-01 Beam Cannon.

I love the different mix and matches you can create off of the Zoids 2 kits, almost more than the kits themselves!

My last few months' worth of purchases: The big star this time is a sizable collection of the Bootleg Zoids Encyclopedia doujins, all the way from volume 3 (April 2004) to volume 21 (August 2016). Most of the volumes are small, stapled booklets composed mostly or entirely of new content, but volumes 1, 2 and 5 are full-sized books covering all previous content, so there's no need for me to hunt down the first two. I don't have a complete list of the series, but as far as I know, the only pre-2016 content I'm missing is volume 17 and possibly 15 (depending on whether the "EX" Boltos volume is counted in the numbering scheme or not). Other finds include a Murasame Liger clock with the sword as the second hand (a Taito arcade game prize), an OJR ruler with a 1/72 metre scale, an NJR campaign prize sticker sheet, a game walkthrough book with a section about Battle of the Central Continent, a relatively cheap but brand-new copy of Legacy (finally), the first Zoidon doujin game, and a couple more Zoids games. Which means... All the Zoids games! ...Well, all the official, physically-released Japanese Zoids video games. I still need Battle Legends, Assault, the non-Spectrum versions of Battle Begins, and maybe the other Medamasoft doujin games (Zoidon Complete and Sinker Addiction) and Zoid-featuring Super Robot Wars games (Gakuen and OE). Oh, and the elusive Zoids Fan Club floppy disk, which apparently includes a couple of minigames. Always more stuff to find...

Did you get to to the Toy fair in Chiba to see the first episode of Zoids wild too Ernestotaku? Good time to be in Japan right now, I'm quite envious!
And Falcarius I'd love to see a closer shot of that Murasame liger clock! I've never seen it before. so neat, going to hang it up and use it or keep it in the pack?
Awesome zoids game collection too, I have battle legends, basically the same but more basic than VS II and III. And with cringeworthy english dialogue. I also have super robot wars K featuring the Murasame Liger, could never work the game out though. Couldn't even get to when or how to use Murasame Liger. I could select as one of three characters at the start then could get nowhere with the game play. I'd have a couple of fights in some gundam looking thing, die, game over and then it's back to the start. Even just dug it out now to see if I could get somewhere with it but after an hour of trying already lost my patience.

Oh boy oh boy was I excited for this finally arriving in the mail. Got this lot off Y!J for an amazing deal, EUR15.44 (1,980 yen) and BIN at that. Which was perfect cuz I coincidentally have customs planned for each of them so obviously went 'yoink' x3 Also completely forgot that they come with the original boxes so that was a super nice bonus (I love OJR/NJR boxes so much omg). Not sure which wave the Bladey is from as he doesn't have pure metal claws and teeth like my other one, but are made of... compressed powder it seems. Which unsurprisingly partially disintegrated already (rip tooth and paws). If anyone knows which release had neither solid metal nor plastic claws/teeth, I'd be intrigued. Also not sure where his one blade attachment..attachment went, it was there in the listing. Maybe I missed it. The Fury didn't come with the lower jaw armor which is cool though cuz I have spare Sturm Tyrann parts anyway, and the tail attachment is fractured which should be easily fixable with epoxy glue. Also my first Gustav (so cute omg and the shell mechanism is lovely) and Fury (which damn is one hell of a kit). For some reason all three have incredibly loose parts, but hey that's what clear nail polish is for. In any case I'm super excited for the plans I have with them~ Dawnbreaker Blade Liger, a custom metallic blue/flat white Fury à la Kuryu Gundam, and a Steampunk Fruitstav (hint: look at the trailer)... can't wait for exam week to be over and finally have the time to pretty these poor sun-damaged guys up ;7;

If I'm not mistaken that's a problem with the metal tooth/claw NJR bladies in general. Some people have ok ones, but lots of people have had theirs crumble or crack. It happened to one of mine, too, which has crumble marks but hasn't completely broken yet. Not sure you could buy any metal tooth Bladey with a guarantee that it'd be 'one of the good ones.' I'd assume it falls under the category of 'batch differences.' Congrats on the lot, though! That's a nice deal.

I live in Japan, so I went for them. I asked for a free day at work, and did it right! because they were sold out at 11:45 or 12, and the store opened at 11:00. I got the last Gabrigator.

I've heard about the brittle teeth/claw issue before but this is the first time encountering it myself. I'm no expert but my guess is erroneous tempering (or lack thereof). My other NJR Bladey was fine though, and my BI and Academy BI ones too of course. However I noticed something: The solid set on the right has a different mold than the brittle ones on the left. They also sound brighter and are much thinner. I believe that the Bladey they came with was the Blade Liger AB release since he came with the boosters. Though it could also be the CP, and hanegaru shows the original Blade Liger with the same style teeth, so I can't say if it's a release-exclusive mold. I'd have to uh, acquire more NJR Bladeys to test this hypothesis lol, but the mold of the teeth might be a lead on whether they're the brittle or solid metal kind.

erroneous tempering (or lack thereof) The likelihood of the parts being steel (and thus requiring tempering) is practically zero. I checked my own NJR Bladey with a magnet and the parts are non-magnetic, and TT would never get their money back if they went with stainless steel (well, they wouldn't with regular steel either, but feh). Plus poorly tempered steel is merely brittle, i.e. breaking under load, rather than crumbly. Best guess is the parts are some cheaper metal, like aluminium, nickel, or zinc, sintered cheaply, or even metal resin, which would explain the crumbling.

Ouch, called out on my non-existent metallurgy knowledge xD; You are right, they are indeed non-magnetic, and the sintering sounds very plausible. I should check some time if they conduct electricity... I know for a fact that the BI metal parts do, I etched them electrochemically. I don't think metal resin would conduct electricity, would it?
